Unpersonal Recollection_Androgino (2008)
Necklace (silicon and pearls) and Brooch (resin and silver)
Inspired by Plato’s myth of the androgyne, Androgino consists of two objects generated from the same form: one becomes the mould of the other. Positive and negative, solid and hollow, the two pieces exist through their reciprocal imprint. Each form contains the trace of the other, the presence of something that is no longer there, but remains inscribed in what it has generated.
